What are freckles?
Freckles are small pale or dark brown spots on the skin, which are commonly seen in areas which gets frequent sun exposures. In general freckles are harmless and have no health risks. But they are considered strong risk indicators for melanomas ad well as non-melanoma skin malignancies.
We at Renew Skin and Health clinic therefore advice you to protect your skin and regularly wear SPF when you go out in sun. We also advice you to seek help immediately from your local doctors or skin specialist if you have noticed a new or any unexplained skin lesion.
