Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (also known as DPN) is brown/black coloured bumps, usually present on the face, neck and upper part of the body. DPN usually presents itself to the body by first appearing on the face. Many decades later it may then spread to other body parts, but mainly the upper torso together with the face and neck.
DPN bumps are unpleasant visually and can notably affect the psyche of an individual. However, the bumps are totally harmless, and there is no such danger of their transformation into skin cancer.
