Alan has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 2000, having graduated from Glasgow University in 1988. He has a broad training in surgery in general and trained in Plastic Surgery in Edinburgh, Cambridge and the West Midlands with a fellowship in Paediatric Plastic Surgery in Toronto in 2000.
Alan has published many papers and arranged international meetings on cosmetic reconstructive breast surgery and hypospadias. He is a member of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and of The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Alan's time is divided between the NHS and the private sector. For the NHS, he is based at The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, where he is head of the Department.
Mr Dan Higman,

Dan Higman trained as a surgeon in London, where he obtained a Master of Surgery Degree from London University.
In 1997 Dan was appointed as a General, Vascular and Paediatric surgeon at University Hospital Coventry, where he continues his NHS practice. His specialist interests are in the management of circulation disorders of the legs, aortic aneurysms and surgery to prevent stroke. Dan also specialises in the management of varicose veins and thread veins; in particular he has expertise in minimally invasive 'office-based' procedures for varicose veins, allowing rapid return to normal activity. Dan lives with his family in Leamington Spa and enjoys walking his dogs and playing jazz piano.
Dr John Berth-Jones
Dr John Berth-Jones is a Consultant in Dermatology at the University Hospital in Coventry. He graduated in medicine from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School in London, before specialising in dermatology, working in Cardiff and Leicester. Dr Berth-Jones has now been working in the Midlands for 25 years. He has contributed numerous chapters to leading international textbooks of dermatology and has published many scientific research papers on a wide range of subjects within this specialty..

He spent over two years sub-specialising in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive surgery,
at the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff, Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and then at the
Royal Perth Hospital, Perth Western Australia.
Harpreet has a particular interest in Aesthetic (cosmetic) eyelid surgery and offers
cosmetic Blepharoplasties (upper & lower eyelids), Brow lifts, Botox for dynamic facial lines and
Dermal Fillers for static facial lines.
He performs virtually scar-less excision of moles, lumps & cysts.
He also deals with other aspects of ophthalmology including tightening of the eyelids,
Ptosis (droopy eyelids) correction and Tear duct surgery for watery eyes. He also performs
suture-less small incision Cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation.
He has specific expertise in dealing with periocular (around the eye and on the eyelids)
cancer and is Lead Clinician for Ophthalmic Cancer Services at the University Hospital
Mr Ahluwalia is an Associate Clinical Professor for Warwick University.
He is the author of over 35 peer reviewed publications in international journals and has given
numerous invited lectures at scientific subspecialty meetings.
He has over 80 presentations at national and international meetings.
He runs a higher specialist training programme in Oculoplastics which is approved by
the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for senior registrars.
He is currently ophthalmology Training Programme Director for the West Midlands Deanery and
Royal College Tutor for Coventry.
